Hi! We're Larry and Denise Seith, owners of GoldRushTradingPost.com. We started our online store in 2005 as a way to combine our hobbies, interest in American history, and love of the great outdoors with a business. We never miss a chance to tour an underground mine, stroll through a gold mining ghost town, or see a modern-day gold mining operation in action. Really makes us appreciate today's new equipment that the old-timers never had. As we've sourced new manufacturers over the years, we've added more products to the site and made great friends along the way! We are also members of Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA) and enjoy attending their annual Gold & Treasure Shows.
Our office is located in the small town of Dallas, Oregon (near the capitol city of Salem). In our spare time, we love to travel. Larry is an avid hiker and a private pilot. Denise enjoys hiking, metal detecting and is a published travel writer and blogger. Over the years, Denise's articles and photos about gold mining history and historic gold rush sites have been published in Gold Prospector Magazine, in many RV magazines, and on the Articles page of this site.
