 Snake Bite Protection

Snake Bite Protection
Don't take a chance! Wear snake bite protection when in the desert or woods.

Protect yourself against snake bite, painful cacti needles, thorns, and other dangers while in the desert or woods! No treasure hunter, gold prospector, or outdoorsmen (or woman) should be without cool, comfortable leg armor that protects you against snake fangs and venom. Both Snake Guardz and Turtleskin brands have been tested and certified, so no matter which brand you choose, rest assured that you will not be bitten in protected areas. Snake boots also available.

Some years are worse than others. Many believe mild winters coupled with substantial spring rains lead to higher than average numbers of snake bite victims. The rain ups the insects, the insects up the rodents, the rodents up the reptiles. And then, as temperatures rise each summer, snakes seek shelter in shady areas under rocks, deep in vegetation, and inside other places that provide shelter from the sun. Pit vipers, which include rattlesnakes, copperheads and water moccasins, can strike at a target up to two-thirds of their body length when provoked. Without immediate treatment, venomous snake bites can cause numbness and tingling, blurred vision, diarrhea, dizziness, sweating, fainting, loss of muscle coordination, nausea and vomiting, rapid pulse, swelling and weakness, convulsions, and sometimes death, especially in children.

Don't take a chance! Snake bite protection is available in many sizes and colors to fit the entire family.
